As a marketing combination Reed Sorenson and Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix could be a commercial match made in heaven!

For those who may not be familiar with the qualifications of Reed Sorenson, the driver of Tommy Baldwin Racing's No. 36 Chevy, here is a brief synopsis of his racing resume.

At the age of 12 years old, back in 1998, Reed won 13 of the 25 Legend races that he entered.  The following year, Sorenson won 30 of the 50 races that he raced.  By 2002 Sorenson was competing in the America Speed Association.  During that year Reed competed in 8 races and logged 7 top ten finishes!

By 2005, at age 19, Sorenson made his Sprint Cup (formerly Nextel Cup) debut for Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sebates.

Over the past ten years Sorenson has accumulated 15 top ten finishes in 225 Sprint Cup races. Additionally, he has Xfinty (formerly Nationwide) Series statistics of four wins, 86 top ten finishes and 4 poles in 199 races.

For those who may not be familiar with the Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix brand, their story is quite amazing, as well.  In 1996 the Zing Zang founder, Richard Krohn, decided to bottle and distribute his old family recipe for a Bloody Mary mix.

Shortly thereafter, Zing Zang was formally introduced to the public at the National Restaurant Association's annual meeting in Chicago in 1997.  One year later Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix took first place in a blind Bloody Mary Mix taste test at Fiery Food Challenge at Albuquerque, NM.  Today, just 18 years after beginning the company, Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix is distributed in all 50 sates and Canada.

Fast forward to 2014

In 2014 Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix partnered up with Tommy Baldwin Racing's No. 36 Chevy.  It was a four race sponsorship with driver Reed Sorenson that began at the Fall Charlotte race on October 14th, and ended four weeks later at Texas Motor Speedway. The best finish in that four race partnership between TBR and Zing Zang came at largest race track on the circuit, Talladega Superspeedway, a very respectable 14th place.

Once again in 2015 Tommy Baldwin Racing's No. 36 Chevy, with Reed Sorenson behind the wheel, is entering into a partnership with Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix as their primary sponsor.  That partnership begins with the paperclip bullring known as Martinsville race on March 29th.  The sponsorship package continues for a total of five races, ending with the May 3rd high speed, flat out, foot to the floor, restrictor plate race at the Talladega Superspeedway.

Just as Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix did in it's infancy in the late 90's, that is explode onto the scene and carve out their piece of the market share in the US, look for Reed Sorenson to make vast improvements in this five race deal over the results posted in 2014!  Keep your eye on the Tommy Baldwin Racing No. 36 Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix Chevy from the beatin' and bangin' paperclip race track of Martinsville on March 29th through the flat out, high banked, chess match racing of the superspeedway known as Talladega.

This combination could be the darkhorse that steals the win at Talladega, similarly to what David Ragan did in 2013!
TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
